Lazy Summer Day

Today has been a great lazy relaxing summer day! However, great relaxing days hardly make for interesting blog entries. :( [sorry] Hopefully, things will pick up soon and I will have more interesting things to blog about.

In other news: Kendall and I have been getting ready to buy our very first home! We are way excited! We really love the townhouse that we've been living in since we got married. It's got charm, it's pretty updated, and it's got history [which my history loving husband and I love]

However, the lack of storage space, routine of not having a parking space when the neighbors have their friends over, and the fact that we can't adopt a sweet pet is really beginning to irk us. Plus, we are ready for something that is ours. I have been planning the color scheme to our home for years now.

Here's a collage of my favorite things in our home that I did for a photo challenge a few months back! :)

I really need to do another one-Since I did this one I've gotten a new baker's rack that I just love! Maybe I'll redo this and post my new favorite things in our home tomorrow! :)

Hopefully things will be more interesting tomorrow-We are going to go and meet up with some friends who are moving back into the area to go to JSU! I'm so excited to see them! :)

The Taylor Family

Just recently I went back through my blogs that I started my freshman year of college-I have to admit that I had the best time reminiscing old times! There were even entries about my "SC" [secret crush]....who later became my husband! :) Sadly, I quit blogging on a regular basis and fell out of the practice completely. However, just recently I began reading a couple of other girl's blogs and felt motivated to get back into the blogging scene.

Kendall and I have been married now for a little over a year and half. We met as music majors at Jacksonville State University. [go gamecocks!] We are both saxophone players and were in several of the same ensembles together. It's funny that neither of us graduated/will graduate in music. Kendall graduated with his BA in History and I will graduate with my BA in graphic design in August. We currently live in Anniston, Alabama, a town nestled at the foot of the Appalachian mountains.

I will do my very best to update regularly-one day I hope to go back through these and remember all of the little things that I might have forgotten if I hadn't documented them.
I also hope that I will also meet some fun blog friends! :)

[oh, btw, my lovely SIL took this picture of us-she's a wonderful photographer! :)]
